The mosaic of happiness

Our well-being is multifaceted programme which consists of more areas:

  • 1. Signature Strengths
    • we have our specific gifts which are unique and they make our personality. When we are able to identify them and use them in our everyday life, it helps us to feel better. Our strengths are also a key for finding a meaning or purpose of our life, that is the big part of our well-being
  • 2. Savoring & Gratitude 
    • our life is too busy that we hardly find time to enjoy the moment but if we think about it more, we can feel our senses more than we do and it makes us happier because most of the time we experience satisfying sensory impulses. When we realize that, we can feel more grateful and it is also a key to happiness.
  • 3. Kindness & Social Connection 
    • simple acts of kindness increase our happiness because it creates a feeling of social connection, that is more important for our happiness than we admit. Our hobbies are important but sharing them with other people amplify their effect. Being a part of community, feelings of belonging somewhere, this would shift our quality of life more than we think.
  • 4. Exercise & Sleep
    • physical activity and relax is a very tangible solution for better feelings in the body. When we do regular exercises, we reach more pleasant experience in our body. It is not necessary to be a part of a race or competition, we can just walk or do light exercises, which help us to feel better in our body and the state of our body effects our well-being intensively.
  • 5. Meditation
    • meditation is supposed to change our state of mind, mainly to switch off our mind from worrying. We think that this can be done by sitting in a strange position and doing nothing but in fact there are much more options how to meditate.
