Šárka Tesařová

I am a researcher, collaborating with Charles University in Prague. My research focuses on lifestyle migration, media and well-being. I am also interested in how social media could improve social reality. Recently, I have been working on research focusing on “privileged migration”, mainly people who leave cities and aim for the countryside.

I am the chairman of the association  Saturnin z.s. which is engaged in the popularisation of findings in social sciences.  The main part of my work is researching, reviewing scientific literature, interviewing people, creating questionnaires and statistical analyses. Recently I have been working on the project “Realm of Healing Sounds” which presents music therapy to the general public. I organize festivals, workshops and also educative work in the field of Music Therapy.
