Predictors of depression: lifestyle choices during the pandemic
Main goal
This study aims to explore how the sanitary emergency due to the COVID-19 pandemic is affecting peoples’ habits, lifestyles and psycho-physical well-being, in order to uncover any existing problems and try to propose solutions necessary to achieve greater well-being among the community.
The final analysis will compare results from six European countries: Italy,
Sweden, France, CR, Spain, Germany, Poland.
The final data will be collected anonymously, in compliance with current legislation, and made public only on an aggregate basis.
Data Collection
Recently, the first part of the research, gathering data, has just finished. The questionnaire was disseminated on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter platform. Our Czech team also sent emails to institutions like schools to all the regions in CR asking their directors about the help with collecting answers.
This phase of the research was finished at 30.4.2020.

This research project is currently on pause. We are taking a brief hiatus to reassess our research goals and methodologies.We anticipate resuming our work in the near future and are excited about the potential insights that will emerge from our continued exploration of media & trust. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
This project aims to describe how people process information and how they check its reliability. We conducted unstructured online interviews focusing on media, scientific research and public knowledge about the health issues connected with the pandemic SARS-CoV2.
Currently, we are analyzing the sources they provided and their way of thinking and studying how they build their trust in the information coming from politicians and scientists and how they create their opinions.

Announcement
We are pleased to announce that the results of our research project were presented at the Senate of the Czech Republic conference, organized by the non-profit organization Care at Home, under the leadership of Olga Starostová. The conference provided a valuable platform to share our findings and engage with key stakeholders in the field. We would like to thank all those who attended and contributed to the success of the event.
This project focuses mainly on elderly people (65+) in the Czech Republic and their mental health during the pandemic of Covid-19. We studied factors that improved symptoms of depression in this specific population group, and we also searched for tricky spots in their lifestyle which could have worsened their well-being during the pandemic. PUBLIC OPINION - mEASUREMENTS COVID-19

Main goal
This research focuses on public opinion about the measurements connected with COVID-19. There is the crucial point of trust to the government and information which is published in mainstream media in the Czech Republic. There is also an interesting comparison between people Czech people and foreigners living in CR for a long time so-called “expats”.
Data collection
Quantitative data have been collected for a week between 1.4 -7.4.2020. The qualitative interviews were finished in November 2020. This part should extend the information which was gathered in the first part of the survey. The analyze of data was finished in 2021
